Does anyone remember when Dragon's Lair
first released in the arcades? It was heralded as the savior of the
arcade game! Riiiiiggghhht! Nevertheless, I still pumped quarter after
quarter (it was 50 cents ya know) into this game. Little did I know then
that the movements I made were not in real time. Oh well.
This is nice conversion on the Jaguar, but the
graphics and sounds are a bit grainy. Also, I don't remember having to play through
the exact scene over and over until you get it right in the arcades. If
you croaked, you played a different level if I remember correctly.
This game has it's moments, but don't expect to get
much long lasting enjoyment from it. Once you've gone through it, you'll
never play it again.
Thanks to the new format, you'll be getting a full review soon. Up. Down. Sword. Down. I played Dragon's Lair way too much as a child.
